The Family Community:«This section is formed by those couples united by the Sacrament of Marriage that freely, in agreement with their children, want to live a similar life to that of the first Christians (cf. Facts 4, 32). It is also constituted by those people of legal age that freely choose the kind of community life that is established in these Contitutions and in the Regulation of Internal Regime of this section» (art. 25º, Constitutions).
There are two ways of performing the vocation to the Family Community(cf. art. 26º):
Members of the Family Community during the celebration of the Holy Mass a moment of adoration of the Family. (Click on the picture to expand it).
Community before the Holy Sacrament (Click on the picture to expand it).
— The internal Community,
constituted by married or unmarried lay people
that, in agreement, and together with their
children if they are under age, they want to
live a similar life to that of the first
Christians. They are supported with their own
work in the most diverse fields. The goods that
are not strictly necessary for the maintenance
of this community are destined to cover the
needs of the charitable works of the Foundation «Virgin
of Sorrows».
— The external Community is
formed by those who, without living permanently
in community, take part in certain acts,
especially during the weekends.
With respect to the goods of those who wish to
be members of the Association of Faithful
Repairers, the article 29 of their Constitutions
establishes that «before finally being admitted, they should have removed freely of their goods».
Consequently, the candidates are free to dispose
of their goods as they wish and to give them to
whoever or whatever institution they consider
better in conscience. This demand is an
invitation to practice the communion of goods
and the poverty inspired in the Gospel (cf. Mt 19, 21; 6, 19-21; Hch 4, 32).
Likewise, with respect to the members already
admitted, the same article 29 says clearly: «Those that live permanently in Community will not perceive fees for their charitable and voluntary action...».
